Three Chairs, Istanbul 2007
This is one of my Personal Favorites. Taken as I was passing the New (Queen’s) Mosque in Istanbul, we were in a bit of a hurry. We had tarried in the Spice Market nexto door and wer heading for a ferry to take us for the first part of our day trip. I wish I had taken the two minutes to center myself properly. Something about the drab gray wall and the bright chair with all the pigeons and the three people grabbed my eye, but time was tugging at my elbow as I snapped this shot. I will certainly return here the next time I am in Istanbul, hopin g to catch a similar scene.
