Bulls Pitching Change
I took this picture a few years ago, during the Durham Bulls’ 8-3 loss to the Columbus Clippers on 8/1/2007. I believe that this was my first trip to the DBAP – the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. These Bulls, ours not Chicagos’s, are currently the Triple A team for the Tampa Bay Rays. The park is nice and small, tickets are affordable and the location is in the newly redeveloped American Historic Tobaco District. We went a few times that summer and enjoyed ourselves.
I submitted this photo, for the heck of it, to the local paper. A few weeks later it was published in the Chapel Hill News for “Your Best Sports Shot” on September 5th, 2007. [Note: My name is spelled incorrectly as Tom instead of Tim.] I had another shot, called Game Over, from that game published as well.
